Leftover Crack, Choking Victim, Crack Rock Steady 7, Star Fucking Hipsters – Contrastablishment bands; Started the Crack Rock Steady genre; indie label (Fat Wreck Chords/Alternative Tentacles); common member is Stza Crack, he’s prominent in the music scene in NYC.

NOFX – Liberal band; indie/DIY/self-label (Fat Wreck Chords)

Dead Kennedys, LARD, Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine – Contrastablishment punk/hardcore bands; Jello Biafra is the frontman.

Chumbawamba – Anarchist Folk Revival band; indie, beautiful music.

Between the Buried and Me – Vegan Metal Band. It’s really amazing stuff, check them out.

Green Day – Liberal band; mainstream, mildly political when it wants to be.
